Darío García talked to The Kings of Spain about the Angelhelmet

Following a speech emphasizing the need to innovate in order to achieve the future, King Felipe VI and his predecessor, King Juan Carlos I, wanted to know firsthand one of the greatest innovations in Mining and industrial safety :

The ANGELHELMET.

In the presentation of the COTEC report, held on June 13th, 2017, the King described the importance of technological innovation for the future. Spanish inventors gathered together with companies and entities to improve knowledge, bringing value to society and promoting change in this country.

This report showed that Spain should invest more in R & D if it wants to keep up with the big EU countries.

The EU invests 25% more in R & D than before the onset of the economic crisis; Our economy 10% less.

All countries have entered a period in which the commitment to innovation is the only  possible way to advance in societies such as ours.

"... the scenario of accelerated change in which we are immersed, far from raising new walls between those who develop technology and those who use it, allows and advises a more protagonist role of citizenship [...] but we can not exercise these Rights from ignorance: we need to understand what is happening to us. Scientific and technological culture is now an indispensable condition for progress and also for the freedom of people ... "

His Majesty the King's speech at the presentation of the COTEC's Report

The biggest drivers are the PIMES

Almost half of Spanish business expenditure on R & D was executed by PIMES (Small and Medium Enterprises). Presistem S.L. is one of these companies, located in the south of Spain, had to face great challenges in the development of its Angelhelmet solution. The lack of support and understanding by some public entities put at risk (multiple times) the continuity of the project, which was completed thanks to the spirit of all the engineers and members of the company, who dreamed of the goal of saving lives.

King Emeritus Juan Carlos I and his son King D. Felipe VI were delighted to chat with Dario Garcia, the CEO and inventor of the Angelhelmet that is a Smart Helmet for Industry and Mining.
